As you might have read in my recent [protocol evolution post](https://retatrutidelog.com/posts/evolving-beyond-retatrutide-tesamorelin), I'm adding tesamorelin to my peptide journey. What seemed like a simple addition has created an unexpected problem that could have serious consequences. ## The Bulk Ordering Reality The supplier I'm using sells peptides in bulk, which means they label them in bulk as well. Individual vials don't have clear labeling on them the only identification is on the case that holds 10 identical vials together. ![bulk_vs_single_vial.png](https://retatrutidelog.com/uploads/4ce56e1d-7622-421c-8259-a1fa75c81052.png) This system worked fine when I was only dealing with retatrutide. I keep my bulk vials in the deep freezer and only reconstitute one at a time. No confusion, no risk. ## The New Problem Now that I'm adding tesamorelin to the mix, I have a potentially dangerous situation: - **Two different peptides** - **Virtually identical vials** - **Same volume of BAC water** for reconstitution - **Same storage location** - **No individual vial identification** These can easily be mixed up, and I could accidentally dose myself with the wrong medication. That's not just ineffective - it could be harmful. ## My Initial Approach: Building a Label Generator My first thought was to solve this the way I solve most problems - build something custom. I created a label generator that would allow me to enter the important information and export the result to a PNG file. ![Screenshot from 2025-08-12 10-52-27.png](https://retatrutidelog.com/uploads/034e7396-14bf-431e-8a10-12e4f0056d48.png) The plan was to print these on vinyl sticker paper with my laser printer and cut them out precisely with my Cricut cutter. In theory, this would give me complete control over design and cost. ## Why the DIY Approach Failed After a couple attempts at this process, I got very annoyed with the whole workflow. Even with a label generator doing most of the work, it wasn't "easy": - Design label in generator - Export to PNG - Load vinyl sticker paper in laser printer - Print and hope alignment was right - Load into Cricut cutter - Cut out individual labels - Weed excess material - Apply to vials If this was a pain point for me, with all the resources to make quality, precision-cut labels. it's likely a pain point for others too, using multiple peptides at once. ## Enter the NIIMBOT D11 That's where the NIIMBOT D11 comes into play. It's a low-cost entry point solution to this problem with tons of customization and convenience built in for what you get. *[Amazon affiliate link: https://amzn.to/3J6A9pw]* Being battery powered and Bluetooth was a huge selling point for me,no need to be tethered to a computer or power outlet. I can label vials where ever my phone is. ## Designing Labels Before Arrival While waiting for the printer to be delivered, I downloaded the NIIMBOT app so I could start working on customizing my labels for both retatrutide and tesamorelin. ![IMG_20250812_183426.jpg](https://retatrutidelog.com/uploads/573bb2af-2502-444d-9bdc-c99ba877a4e5.jpg) If you have one of these printers you can copy this label into their application by copying the text below: 【retatrutide(40*14)】,After copying this information⊙689bcb81ef7fd40c5c1fb11c⊙,Open👉NIIMBOT👈。 ![IMG_20250812_183521.jpg](https://retatrutidelog.com/uploads/f8b84b8c-4598-4bfd-949a-acee62b49ef9.jpg) 【Tesamorelin(40*14)】,After copying this information⊙689bd08bf27e873983636c98⊙,Open👉NIIMBOT👈。 The app interface is surprisingly robust, allowing for custom text, sizes, formatting, and even basic graphics. I was able to create templates for each compound with all the essential information clearly displayed. ## The Device Arrives ![IMG_20250812_184338.jpg](https://retatrutidelog.com/uploads/eda7d7c3-ace9-47c3-8948-4459c77dd345.jpg) When the device arrived, setup was super easy. Within minutes I was printing the labels I had designed while waiting. The thermal printing is super crisp and looks great applied to the vials. ![Blank Collage Template (2).png](https://retatrutidelog.com/uploads/7a71dac3-960e-4d3a-a8f5-9b3ec7c4273b.png) The print quality exceeded my expectations - clean, professional-looking labels that are easily readable and durable enough for freezer storage. ## Ready for Tesamorelin I'm still waiting on my order of tesamorelin to arrive, but once it does, I'll be ready with clean, crisp labels. No more guessing, no more risk of mix-ups, and no more time-consuming DIY label cutting process. ## Beyond Just Safety While preventing mix-ups was the primary motivation, the labeling system adds other benefits: **Organization:** - Easy identification in the freezer - Clear tracking of what's been reconstituted - Professional appearance for storage **Documentation:** - Dates help track peptide freshness - Clear identification for progress tracking - Better record-keeping for protocol adjustments **Peace of Mind:** - No second-guessing which vial is which - Confidence in dosing accuracy - Professional approach to peptide management ## The Bigger Picture This might seem like overkill for a personal protocol, but when you're dealing with multiple compounds that could have different effects or interactions, precision matters. The thermal printer was a small investment compared to the cost of the peptides themselves, and the safety benefit is invaluable. As I expand my protocol and potentially add more compounds in the future, having a reliable labeling system in place means I can scale safely without increasing the risk of errors. ## Implementation Results ![no_label_label.png](https://retatrutidelog.com/uploads/c12a4e5b-b17f-438a-87be-005f891e340f.png) The difference is immediately obvious. What was once a guessing game with identical vials is now a clearly organized system where every compound is unmistakably identified. **Setup process:** - Download the NIIMBOT app - Connect printer via Bluetooth - Design label templates for each compound - Print labels as needed for reconstituted vials The whole process takes less than a minute per vial, and the peace of mind is worth far more than the minimal time investment. ## Moving Forward With tesamorelin starting Monday and this labeling system in place, I can focus on documenting the protocol effects instead of worrying about which vial contains what. It's one less variable in an already complex optimization process. Sometimes the most important innovations are the simple ones that prevent problems before they happen. ::subscribe[{"variant":"default"}] --- **Disclaimer:** The information provided on this site is for **educational and informational purposes only** and reflects my **personal experiences and opinions**.
