How The Calculation Works
Example Calculation:
If you theoretically dissolve 15mg of peptide in 1.5mL of diluent, the concentration would be 10.00 mg/mL.
For a theoretical 2mg dose, you would need 0.200mL of solution, which equals 20.0 units on a standard U-100 measurement scale.
Understanding the Math:
- • Concentration = Total Peptide (mg) ÷ Diluent Volume (mL)
- • Volume per Dose = Desired Dose (mg) ÷ Concentration (mg/mL)
- • Units = Volume (mL) × 100 (for U-100 scale)
Note: These are theoretical calculations for educational purposes. Actual research applications require proper training and equipment.
